How do I register for a Nevada Real Estate Exam?

Visit https://red.prod.secure.nv.gov, create an account, and follow the steps to register and pay for your exam.

If I am already licensed in Nevada, do I need to create a new account to register for an exam?

No, you should not create a new account. Please use your existing log-in issued by Licensing to register and pay for any exams. If you need assistance logging in to your account, please visit the Division’s website.

How do I register for the two-for-one combo discount when I register for both the State and National Salesperson or Broker exam?

To receive the two-for-one combo examination discount on the NRED website, select only one of the following options from the dropdown on Question #3:

  • NV Broker National and NV Broker State
  • NV Salesperson and National and NV Salesperson State

IMPORTANT: Verify both exams are listed before you pay invoice. Exam fees are final and nonrefundable.

I registered and paid for my exam on the Nevada Real Estate Division's website. How do I schedule an exam?

Pearson VUE will email you within one (1) business day with instructions to complete your account on their website. Once your account is set up, you can schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE testing center.

I’m not sure if my payment went through, should I submit it again?

NO. If you are uncertain if your payment was processed, do not submit it a second time. Exam payments are final and nonrefundable, so please submit them carefully. If you are questioning your payment, wait a few minutes as you will receive a payment confirmation in your email. If you do not receive it or still would like to check, call us directly at (702) 486-0951.

I’ve paid for my exam but haven’t received an email from Pearson VUE. What should I do?

Pearson VUE will email you within one (1) business day using the email address you provided on your registration. Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still haven’t received anything, please contact NRED at realest@red.nv.gov or call (702) 486-0951 for assistance.

Can I get a refund for my exam fees?

As notified on the Examination Disclaimer, Sworn Declaration and invoice, exam registration fees are final and nonrefundable.

I’m having trouble logging into my account with Pearson Vue to schedule my test. What should I do?

If you're having login issues, please contact Pearson VUE directly, as Division staff cannot access your account information. You may also use the chat feature on their "Contact Us" page for assistance

The exam I’m authorized for is incorrect. What should I do?

When scheduling your real estate exam with Pearson VUE, ensure it matches the exam you registered and paid for. If the authorization is wrong, do not schedule the exam. Please contact NRED Education directly at (702) 486-0951. Division staff will need to verify the exam you registered for. Once confirmed, you’ll receive a new email from Pearson VUE with the correct exam authorization. You can then schedule your exam.

How can I confirm the date and time of my test?

If you've scheduled your test with Pearson VUE, simply log into your account to view and confirm your test date, time, and location.

What locations are available for testing?

You can test at any Pearson VUE Professional Center nationwide, but only certain locations are approved for Nevada real estate exams. Visit the Pearson VUE website to see the nearest approved testing locations.

I passed my exam(s). How can I get my real estate license?

Review the Initial Requirements for licensure for your license type.

I did not pass my exam. How can I reschedule?

Exam retake fees must be paid on the NRED website. Log into and use the same account you created for your initial registration to pay for any retake. Once the payment is processed, your information will be updated with Pearson VUE, and you’ll receive an email to schedule another exam.
